Day 1: Luang Prabang – Arrival

Welcome to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, Meet your guide and transferred to your hotel.

First we will escort you to The National Museum. You will visit Wat Visoun and see the impressive stupa there. Next you will go to the shrine at Wat Aham, Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong. Your next place of interest will be the hill in the center of town, Mount Phousi. After you have seen the golden stupa at the summit; you will have ample time to witness the sunset over the city. Mount Phousi offers the visitor a spectacular view of the city and The Mekong River. After making the descent we will take you to the nearby Street Night Market, where the local hill-tribe people sell their merchandise. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B)

Early morning around 05:40am, observing an Arm-Giving, hundreds of monks walking along side walk to collect rice and food from laymen. We then visit Fresh Morning Market at Prakham village. Back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, Meet your guide and Enjoy a cruise on The Mekong River upstream to Ou cave. The tranquil countryside provides a magnificent backdrop as you make your way to the village of Ban Xanghai. Here the local trade is the distillation of rice wine. From here we move on to the famous Pak Ou Caves. The caves are crammed full of ornate statues of the Buddha. As we leave the caves we will take you to Ban Xang Khong village. Here the local people are highly skilled in the dyeing and hand weaving of exquisite fabrics. After that return to your hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Kuangsii Falls – Departure (B)

After breakfast, Meet your guide and we will escort you to Kuang Sii Falls. This beautiful natural feature is the perfect spot to relax. You may swim in the clear water or if you wish make the gentle climb to the top. On the return journey we take in the fascinating village of the Black Hmong hill-tribe people. Life here has remained unchanged for centuries. After that return to town and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight to your next destination.  End of trip.
