Day 1: Vientiane - Arrival

Welcome to Vientiane, (The City Of The Moon), is the largest city in Laos and its capital. The beautiful ancient city sits on the left bank of the Mekong River. Our Laos tour guide will meet you on your arrival and escort you to your hotel. After check in we will take a short sightseeing trip of Vientiane, taking in some of the local favourites. The Religious Museum housed in the temple at Wat Sisaket, predates the Siamese war of 1828. It features the famous cloister, the wall of which features 6,840 ceramic and silver statues of the Buddha. Wat Ho Prakeo is the former home of the Emerald Buddha but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues and antiquities. Pha That Luang, The Great Stupa, is a symbol of the Laos Nation. It is the single most important monument in the country. It was built to cover an original small Stupa which holds a section of the breastbone of Buddha. Patouxy (The Triumphal Arch) was built between 1957 and 1968 and commemorates the dead of past conflicts. It has become one of the most famous landmarks of the city of Vientiane. Day 2: Vientiane – Xiengkhouang (B) : By Lao Airlines QV401: 14:40-15:20PM

After breakfast, Meet your guide and transfer you to Wattay Airport for an afternoon flight Xiengkhouang. This will have been the 3rd UNESCO world heritage sites in Laos in July 2019. Upon arrival, Meet your guide and We drive out of town to visit plain of jars site  2, which is smaller than site 1 but similar. It is the most bombed site per head of capita in the world. It is where the US armed forces jettisoned unused ordinance after bombing raids. We will also visit the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages. These are home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. Overnight in Xiengkhouang.

Day 3: Xiengkhouang - Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast, Meet your guide and Visit Phonavanh Market to see local lives before We drive out of  town to visit the Plain of Jars site 1, which is the biggest sites, Hundreds of big jars can be seen there. After that we head out to Luang Prabang about 7horu drive. On the way we will visit the 200 year old Buddha images in Thampra. The journey then takes us over mountainous regions to Luang Prabang. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Our Laos tour party will be stopping here for the day. Arrive in Luang Prabang, check in at your hotel. You can explore Street Night Market at your leisurely. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave-Kuang Sii Fall (B)

After breakfast, Meet your guide and enjoy a cruise upstream on The Mekong River. This provides a different perspective to the wonderful surrounding countryside. From here we will visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. Which are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Later we will stop off at the village of Ban Xanghai. Which is famous for its local rice wine.

Afternoon, we will travel 30 Km out of town to the beautiful Kuang Sii waterfall where you can relax, swim or take a short stroll up to the top of the falls. On the return journey we make a short visit to the Black Hmong village. This ancient people originate from the mountainous regions of China, Vietnam, Thailand and of course Laos. We then return to the hotel to relax. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Tour-Departure (B)

After breakfast, Meet your guide and Visit National Museum,  Visit Wat mai, Visit Wat Xienghtong, visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun.  After these sites, Transfer you to airport for your departure. End of trip.
